Programs for Poultry

The poultry program contains premixes for breeders, layers and broilers. A difference can be made between premixes for productive and reproductive animals. Besides these products, Bivit offers also an extensive product range of liquid additives for utilization in drinking-water systems. Nutritional knowledge build on lifelong experience and scientific research forms the basis of the whole poultry concept.

Breeders

The feeding cost is the most important cost within the production chain of day-old chicks.  But not only the cost determines the economical profitability, also qualitative aspects of the feed have a significant influence. After all the composition of the feed determines the number of eggs just as the fertilization – and outcome percentage in the hatchery.  The quality of the delivered day-old chicks influences technical and economical results on the broiler farms.  Feeding quality is determined by nutrients and balances.  But also choice of raw material and structure of the feed have an influence.  BIVIT gives advice and makes custom made premixes for the production of quality feed.

Layers

By changing the feed, it is possible to influence the egg production and quality.  External quality factors like egg weight and scale quality and internal quality factors like egg white colour, egg white height, yolk colour, taste, fatty acid composition, cholesterol content, yolk/egg white relation, residues and microbial pollution are determined by strict and complex nutrient relations.  BIVIT gives advice and produces premixes to combine raw materials to a feed that results in desired technical results.

Broilers

BIVIT developed a four phase feeding program for broilers.  This product range contains a prestarter, starter, grow and finishing feed.  These four feeds can be made started of two specific premixes.  Because broilers are fast growers and moreover very sensitive to all kinds of infections, an equilibrate feed strategy is of primordial importance.  In contrast to for instance pig feed, the freedom of formulation of broiler feed is much smaller.  Nutritional balances need to be respected in a much stricter way.  Energy quantity and energy sources, amino acids content and proportion, electrolyte balance, calcium /phosphorous proportion, minerals, vitamins and trace elements supply have to be in harmony with age depending nutritional demands of the broilers.

Bivisols

The bivisol program is the whole of liquid and water soluble supplements that BIVIT offers to the professional farmer.  The product range contains vitamin blends, individual vitamins and liquid mineral mixtures.  These water soluble supplements can be administrated in the drinking-water and can be used as curative and as preventive.  The bivisol range is produced by one of the biggest European producers of liquid preparations.  Years of research and experience are incorporated this program.
